These sturdy but lightweight tags are designed for comfort and safety for both horse and rider. The leather is soft, supple and good quality. A leather keeper provides additional security that the strap will stay buckled. The HORSE tag is identifiable on both sides as contact information so it isn’t a problem if it flips over. The RIDER tag prominently displays the universal symbol for medical information–the Red Cross logo. Two separate information cards are included in both versions. There is plenty of space to write whatever additional information you would like to provide. The information provided on the card is what EMT’s state they need in the moment of crisis– blood type, allergies, and other vital information. The cards are inserted by removing the leather strap. The rider should wear a Red Cross version on their person, with a horse ID tag attached to their saddle or braided into the mane. These tags are endorsed by Tom Seay of Best of America by Horseback. Tom believes all riders should be prepared for an emergency. For just a few moments of your time, you can tag yourself and your horse to be confident that you both are protected in the event of an accident or separation from your horse.
HORSE Emergency Identification Tag ID MyHorse BLACK with RED Lettering
Supple, quality leather tag with ID MyHORSE prominently displayed on either side of the tag. Lightweight and comfortable for the horse, they can be attached to a halter or woven into the mane. (For extra-active equines, we recommend a rubberband beneath the buckle for long term wear.) Attaching an identification tag to your best buddy can help insure your reunification in the event of a natural disaster, trailering accident, separation on the trail, or escape from temporary enclosures while camping. Each tag contains two card inserts, one providing critical information for the rider, and one providing information about the horse.
